Consumer Unit Change
​
Electrif specialises in the repair, maintenance, fitting and upgrading of Consumer Units (commonly known as Fuse Boxes) in Domestic and Commercial buildings. A consumer unit is the ‘fuse box’ which goes between your electricity meter and electrical circuits in your building. The modern units that are used these days do not contain fuses, but MCB’s (Miniature Circuit Breakers). MCB’s are designed to protect against overloads and short circuits and will prevent any damage to cables and equipment at the other end of a circuit.
